Our History
Since yesterday...
In 1986, a group of students from the Political Science course at Luiss University in Rome, inspired by the words of Marc Chatenier, President of a French Junior Enterprise, decided to experiment with the Junior Enterprise model in Italy. After a trip to France to learn about this world, they founded the Junior Enterprise 3SL in 1987 with the support of Banco di Roma. For about ten years, 3SL was active in numerous international projects and collaborations, involving a large number of students. This led to the birth of the Italian Confederation of Junior Enterprises (CIJE, now JE Italy), founded with the aim of spreading this initiative in Italy.
...to Today
JELU Consulting is the student consulting firm of Luiss Guido Carli. Founded in 2016 , today it offers strategic consulting services , collaborating with some of the best professors of the University and with a vast and solid network of partners and Alumni behind it. The preparation of the students who are selected to be part of it and the business context in which they operate, allows JELU to bring value to its clients, growing together with them.
What is a "Junior Enterprise"?
A Junior Enterprise is a non-profit organization entirely managed by university students. It is organized like a company and interfaces with different types of entities (organizations, companies, institutions) in order to work with them or for them on different types of projects, ranging in the different fields of expertise of each Junior. They are part of a constantly growing global network, with the common goal of bridging, more and more, the gap between university and the world of work.
